首先，對於 Unified Patent Court ，我將採取 "歐盟統合專利法院"的譯名。因為這個法律是在歐盟的架構下的協定。

這個協定要生效，也就是歐盟統合專利法院要開張，要經過英、法、德以及歐盟內部超國13個會員國以上同意生效。從法案的各國進度來看，最大的障礙還是德國是否通過。

不過雖然名為"歐盟統合專利法院"，但是由於語言的因素，已經有歐盟國家不准備加入這個歐盟法案，其中包括，西班牙。
