首先，對於 Unified Patent Court ，我將採取 "歐盟統合專利法院"的譯名。因為這個法律是在歐盟的架構下的協定。

在原文中，有另一個連結，Agreement on a Unified Patent Court，連到歐盟的相關網站。有列出法案在各國的進度。

這個協定要生效，也就是歐盟統合專利法院要開張，要經過英、法、德以及歐盟內部超國13個會員國以上同意生效。從法案的各國進度來看，最大的障礙還是德國是否通過。

不過雖然名為"歐盟統合專利法院"，但是由於語言的因素，已經有歐盟國家不准備加入這個歐盟法案，其中包括，西班牙。

由於 Brexit 與 德國聯邦憲法法院 (Bundesverfassungsgericht，簡稱BVerfG) 對德國國會通過與 The Unified Patent Court 相關法案的審查，這兩件事件使得歐盟單一專利 (Unitary Pantent)  的實施時間表蒙上陰影。
